I forgot to mention this...yesterday was Faiqah Hussin's Birthday so let's all wish her a Happy, Happy Birthday!!!!! Hope that all her wishes and dreams will come true.... Stay cute ya!! How I wish I'm 13 again....Sigh...
And also, Kai Chien's Birthday was on the 15th of this month so Happy Belated Birthday!!! Sorry the wish is late, I just got to know about it yesterday. And to the rest who had celebrated their birthdays before this, no matter when... Happy Belated Birthday!! Hope you had a fabulous time!

Well Done!!
I realised that some of you have mentioned this already. Well, first of all, thank you sooooo much Billy and Jie Qi for representing the class as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson. I think that both of you did a very good job, especially Billy. Kisses from me!! Muacccks!! Dont worry, online kisses only, not real ones!!! Hahaha!!
I know that it is not easy being chairpersons, you have to shoulder loads of responsibilities and not to mention, sometimes you are not appreciated for what you have done and hated and blamed too!!! But both of you have persevered through it all!! Good job!
And now, let us welcome our new chairperson and vice-chairperson, Yoyo and Wesley!!!! I'm sure both of you are chosen because of your qualities so, well done!!! Do your duties well and if you're not sure of anything, you can ask Billy, Jie Qi or myself. And to the others, please cooperate and don't give them a hard time alright! By the way, I'm sure Danny will do a wonderful job too but since he is not keen on the post and is more interested in IT, we shall let him continue his duty as Maintenance Head. ;-)
Also, I would like to congratulate Yoyo on winning the Star Award...again..hehe and this time round for Empathy. Congrats!! I'm sure most of you chose her because she is exemplary in her behaviour, attitude and manners. I'm also sure that all of you look up to her so try and be more responsible like her ok?? Btw Yoyo, since when did you become a Mummy????!!!! And you have so many kids too!!! Tsk tsk tsk...hehehe

My good friend, Harry
Hi everybody! Sorry I kind of like go missing these few days, was really busy with my good friend, Mr Harry Potter!!!! At last, I finished reading the book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!! Hooray!!!!! I used to be able to finish the book in a day but with my baby, I can only read at night and that is usually around 2-6am!!!! But I just had to finish the book, just can't sit in peace not knowing what happens next!! I'm sure other Harry Potter fans will know what I mean... ;-) I am now like a zombie due to lack of sleep... :-(
Anyway, for those who want to borrow the book, just let me know yeah but you have to wait, I have about 5 people in the queue...hehehe
OK, what happens the past few days? Mmmm...first, I want to apologise to the basketball boys. I couldn't go to Anglican High because I had a meeting at the last minute. Don't be too discouraged even though you lost OK, getting this far is already commendable and I am proud of you!!! Anyway, for those who didn't know, they lost by only 6 points.
Next, I want to express my disappointment to those who did not submit their RISE projects on time, which was due on the 23rd of July (Mon). Even though the project was given way in advance, some groups still did not hand it on time. And what made it worse was that some groups did not even admit to me when I asked about the project. I hope this kind of behaviour will change. Please hand in your projects on time and be more responsible. Like I mentioned yesterday, I will deduct marks from those groups which handed in late.
Lastly, I have read the tagboard and realised that you have lots of tests coming up. I wish all of you the best. Like some of you mentioned, you must prove that you are the BEST!!!! Study hard and I hope all of you do well!!!

Tagboard
I want to thank Bella for placing the tagboard. It's really cool. Also, please give more constructive comments or opinions. This tagboard belongs to the class, not for you to discuss about your online games!!!!
United We Stand
Thank you for all the opinions, comments and comforting words. You have restored my confidence in the class. But I do hope to hear from the people involved. I will not talk about this matter anymore after this. Just want to remind all of you to think before you do something because for every act, you must face the consequences. Kareema has admitted her mistake and felt sorry for it. She has also accepted her punishment. For the whole of next week, she is in charge of keeping the floor clean.
It is true like most of you said, conflicts are bound to happen. But I hope you will settle your differences in an amicable (friendly and pleasant) manner. You must learn to be more matured and learn how to handle conflicts well. Remember our class motto : United We Stand, Divided We Fall. It is so true, if we are united, we can overcome anything. We can be better and stronger. But if we are divided, we will not only fall but unhappy at the same time. So let's work together towards this motto, alright.
On a different note, this Monday is the opportunity for us to display our 'unitedness'. I hope all of you will give your support to our basketball boys, Hong Shen & Tian Shen. Let's cheer them on. If I'm not mistaken the match starts at 3 and maybe ends at 4+. I hope to see all of you but please seek permission from your parents first. It's ok if you cannot make it but for those who can, do come yeah. We shall tear Anglican High down with our roar!!!!!!!

New Posts
Let's see...first let me express my gratitude to Kah Wei for volunteering to be the Treasurer of the class. Being a treasurer is not easy (it can never be easy when it involves $$$$...hehe).. Thank you Kah Wei for volunteering yourself for this challenging post. Do your duty well ya and if you face any problems, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Another new post...I have appointed Bella as my Blog Assistant...hehe... It's not an official post but important nonetheless. I have heard that she's good with computers so I approached her this morning and I am glad that she accepted the post readily. Thank you Bella!! As most of you are interested in a tagboard, I have asked her to include a tagboard for this blog. She will also monitor the blog and let me know of any unwanted or nasty comments. Hopefully she can beautify the blog too... ;-)

I was really happy this morning when Tian Shen told me that they won the basketball match yesterday. Congrats!!! To Tian Shen and Hong Shen, all the best! Hope you'll win all the matches and get to the finals! We are behind you all the way! 3 cheers for our basketball boys!! Hip Hip Hurrayyyy!!!!!!!!!
Tables & Cleanliness
I do not have time to check the tables today because I was busy preparing for a workshop. I hope that all tables have been wrapped and I do not have to waste my time scolding any of you.
I really seek your co-operation in these matters. When I give any task, I hope that the task is carried out without me having to make repeated reminders or resort to scolding. As I do not teach the class, it's really difficult for me to monitor the class all the time and I hope all of you carry out your duties and be more responsible. Please prove to me that all of you are responsible and trustworthy!
And another reminder, please ensure that the class is clean all the time. Like I said, everybody plays a part in maintaining the cleanliness of the class. If you see a litter near you, do pick it up and do not wait for somebody else to do it. Those on duty, please do your duty well. If all of us do our part, I'm sure we can maintain the cleanliness and study in a better environment. We want to maintain our 'Cleanest Class' title right??
Furthermore, like Mrs Lee (the DM) mentioned yesterday, please empathise with the old cleaners. We don't want to trouble them with our litter when we can actually do it ourselves. I'm sure they appreciate it too. Do remember....kindness go a looooong way... :=))

REMINDER
For those who have not submitted the consent forms, please do so tomorrow. Those who have not wrapped their tables also have to do it tomorrow. If the tables are still not wrapped, you are going to stay back again after school and help me!!
PSL & Prefects
I just found out today that Yoyo and Jerrold have been chosen as PSLs. Congrats! I hope that both of you will do your job well and do 1E1 proud! For Diyana and Faiqah Hussin, don't worry, you can try again next year. Don't be disappointed alright.
Actually, choosing the candidates for PSL was a really tough one. I know that more than half the class was interested. I am really proud that most students are interested because that shows that they are willing to lead and show initiative.
Like I said, it was really, really tough choosing the candidates because all of you actually qualified! The criteria is..... PSLs have to be committed, able to relate well with their peers, helpful and responsible. Almost all of you have these qualities! So Mrs Low and I have to narrow it down further. We realise that PSLs also have to be vocal, cheerful and charismatic. So in the end we chose Yoyo, Jerrold, Diyana and Faiqah H. For the rest, I hope that you are not too disappointed that you are not chosen. Be assured that Mrs Low and I are proud of all you.
The same goes for the prefects. You are chosen because of your leadership qualities. Please do your job well and we hope that one day, one of you will become Head Prefect!! ;-))

As promised, I've created a blog for our prestigious class...hehehe.. Although it's already the second semester...well...better late than never, right?? I will post pictures, useful information, reminders and whatever that is important here. Since I do not teach the class (except the Malay students), I feel that this is a good platform for me to pass important information and at the same time, get to know each and everyone of you better.
I am looking forward to comments and suggestions from all of you but here's an important reminder, no crude or harsh words allowed.
