All the best!!

Some of our classmates are in the midst of tournaments... like the netball and badminton players. I would like to wish all of them the best!!!! Even if you do not win, it's ok... learn from the experience and try again ok!!! Once again, good luck!!

PS: You are taking your own sweet time to assemble at the parade square again! I will not have any second thoughts to retain you back again if you continue to do so. Cooperate and remind each other to settle down as quickly as possible!

Layout

I have decided to change the layout because I feel that since it's a new year, our layout should be new too. Don't you agree? Couldn't find anything more interesting than this though. If you have suitable skins/layouts in mind for the class blog, do let Bella know.

Enjoy your Sunday!

January Babies

Apart from Kelvin Sim and Umaimah, we have three more January babies who will be celebrating or have celebrated their birthdays. To Michelle, Asher and Jamina... Happy 14th Birthday!!!!! I hope all of your wishes and dreams will come true.

Reminder, tomorrow is the deadline to wrap all your tables. Those who have not done so by the end of the day will have to stay back and finish the job. I have given all of you ample time to get it done so no more extensions.

Another thing, how come the homework column is not updated???

Morning Assembly

I want to praise the girls for making the effort to settle down earlier at the parade square but the boys have to put in more effort. It is important that you settle down at the parade square as fast as possible after the announcement is made so that I can mark your attendance promptly and accurately. Furthermore, it also reflects on your attitude. Do not take your own sweet time walking slowly from the canteen to the parade square.

Let me reiterate that I will continue to hold you back if you do not settle promptly. If you do not want to be treated like kids, do act responsibly. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS!

The Beginning...

This is my second entry for the year. First of all, just want to say that I am glad that I am your form teacher this year. I hope all of you will co-operate with me and together, we will make 2E1 the best and most envied class in East Spring Sec!! But this can only happen if we work together and stay united.

I just read the tag board and find that the seating arrangement is still causing unhappiness. I want you to know that unless you have a very good reason (for example, eyesight problems, etc) the seating arrangement STAYS. Most of you talk about loving the class and being united, so you should be able to adapt to the new seating arrangement. I want you to mix with different groups of people and help each other out. So I do not want to hear any more complaints. Get to know your partner and learn from one another.

Last Thursday, we have decorated the class. Good job!! I think that the class is much nicer and colourful now. Thank you everybody for doing your part. And Jaslyn and gang, thank you for coming up with the layout. But the class motto and class rules are still not up. Also, you have yet to decorate your individual tables. I will set aside some time tomorrow during RISE to finish these tasks so don't forget to bring the things you need.

OK, that's all for now. I really hope we will have a happy and productive year ahead of us! Three cheers for 2E1!!!! Hip hip hurray!!

Happy New Year!!!

School's starting tomorrow!! Are all of you ready for school???? I hope everybody is well rested and raring to go!!! Just a gentle reminder, please do not be late. I'm sure you want to start the new term positively so do be punctual and make sure you follow the school rules regarding attire, hair, etc, etc... And wear proper socks!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the holidays. I thoroughly enjoyed mine because I got to spend time with my baby and family. Before we start the new term, I want to post the 'last day' and 'bbq' photos. Sorry this is sooooo overdue!
