Battlesite Tour

I'll start with the Battlesite Tour pics. Actually, I enjoyed the trip, hope you enjoyed it too. It was an educational tour and our guide, though over-enthusiastic (I know most of you were complaining), was very experienced and well-informed. I hope you listened to his many 'inside' stories, very interesting indeed.

I learnt a lot from the tour and the Bukit Chandu part was very sad. The disappointing part was that some of you were fooling around instead of using the opportunity to learn more about our past. I must say that I was very disappointed with the way the boys behaved in the theatre. You were too rowdy and disrespectful. The story was about the people who fought bravely for our country and there you were having fun instead of learning about their sacrifices. In the future, if you go on such trips, I hope you will show more respect.

And personally, after watching the moving story, I pray that history will not repeat itself. War not only kill many people but destroys families and hopes. I pray that we don't have to go through what our forefathers went through...
